Dr Alison Linton

Dr Alison Linton is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare for women. She adopts a reassuring and patient-centred approach, ensuring that individuals feel supported and fully informed throughout every step of their treatment journey. Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of healthcare needs, from general diagnostic investigations to specialised obstetric and gynaecological procedures.

In her day-to-day practice, Dr Linton manages a wide variety of conditions affecting women's health. Her key areas of clinical interest include general gynaecology, colposcopy for the assessment and management of cervical abnormalities, and outpatient hysteroscopy. Dr Linton completed her medical degree at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2004. Following her initial qualification, she undertook rigorous postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to achieve consultant status. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, actively keeping her practice aligned with the latest clinical standards and evidence-based guidelines.
