Ms Alison Guy

Ms Alison Guy is a dedicated Consultant Vascular Surgeon with a comprehensive background in General Surgery. Committed to delivering individualised, patient-centred care, Ms Guy focuses on providing modern diagnostic and treatment strategies for patients with a wide range of circulatory and venous conditions. Her practice blends advanced minimally invasive techniques with established surgical methods to ensure reassuring, high-quality care at every stage of the treatment journey.

Ms Guy possesses extensive expertise in managing both venous and arterial conditions. Her areas of clinical focus include the treatment of varicose veins using both open and endovascular procedures, aortic aneurysm surgery, carotid surgery, and the investigation and management of peripheral vascular disease. She also specialises in complex surgical access procedures for renal care. Alongside her clinical duties, she serves as a Clinical Lead in vascular surgery, contributing actively to clinical governance, service management, and surgical education.

Ms Guy completed her primary medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), at the University of Birmingham in 2003. Following her primary qualification, she completed basic surgical training and specialist higher surgical training, during which she was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) postgraduate research degree for her research in renal transplantation. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) and holds professional membership with the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland.
