About Dr. Ahmed Abdulgawad
Dr. Ahmed Abdulgawad is a Consultant Haematologist based at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust, where he specialises in cellular therapies and early phase trials.
He undertook his medical degree in Cairo and underwent extensive further haematology training at Kasralainy School of Medicine, Cairo become a lecturer in haematology in 2014 and came over to the UK in 2016 before entering the GMC specialist register for haematology in 2021 having undertaken further training across the North West of England.
Dr. Abdulgawad has extensive experience in cellular therapy across both patient facing and research settings, with numerous academic acolades including MSc and an MD degrees in haematology with substantial experience in clinical research.
