Mr Abeed Chowdhury

Mr Abeed Chowdhury is a highly qualified General Surgeon. They completed their undergraduate medical training at the University of Manchester Medical School. Following this, they undertook higher surgical training in Nottingham. Mr Chowdhury was awarded national research fellowships by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the National Institute of Health Research for their work in surgical immunology. They were also awarded a PhD in 2013 by The University of Nottingham. Mr Chowdhury's research has been extensively published and is highly cited by peers in their field.

Mr Chowdhury has undertaken a post-certification colorectal fellowship at St James's Hospital in Leeds with Professor Sagar in advanced and recurrent colorectal cancer.

They are actively involved in surgical training and has been responsible for establishing educational programmes for surgical trainees and nursing specialists.
