I had a Birmingham Hip Resurface back in 2003. In 2023 I got an infection in that hip and it was touch and go whether I would keep the hip or have to have a full replacement. The care, attention and professionalism of all the staff at this hospital was outstanding on each visit.

There was only one small issue in the great scheme. The porter who took me for the X-ray before I was discharged was obviously having a bad day and left me to get on and off the X-ray table myself which was excruciating while hurrying me from a distance. Sorry to say.

A very specialised hospital with extremely dedicated members of staff, nothing appears to be too much trouble , as a patient you feel in very capable, knowledgeable hands. Extremely clean wards with experienced staff. The ROH is a fairly small but dedicated hospital I can not fault the hospital premises nor the staff that work there. A pity the rest of the health service does not follow their ethos.

Without doubt, the best hospital in Birmingham. All Staff, from Consultants to the cleaners & all those in between, make this hospital the jewel in the crown of Midlands.
