Stayed for three weeks and found everyone so helpful and the help was amazing
We will always be very grateful to Dr Mohan for the care and support given to our daughter during a very difficult time for our family. When our daughter was struggling with anxiety, it was incredibly difficult for us as parents to see her going through it. Dr Mohan took the time to really listen to her, understand what she was experiencing. The medication made such a positive difference to our daughter’s life, and we could see a real change in her wellbeing. With the right treatment and support, we have seen such a positive change in our daughter. She is now doing really well, much more confident and able to enjoy her everyday life again. She has now successfully come off the medication. We are truly grateful for the care, compassion and guidance we received, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to other families who may be going through a similar difficult time.
This was my first experience of being an inpatient, and I spent a month at the Priory on Upper Court. Initially, I found the experience incredibly daunting. Being in hospital was completely unfamiliar to me, particularly being observed 24 hours a day at first and then regularly checked on throughout the day. It took some getting used to at a time when I was already feeling extremely vulnerable. What made such a difference was the incredible team on Upper Court. They were kind, compassionate, patient and genuinely caring, and over the course of my stay they made what could have been a frightening experience feel safe and supportive. I never felt judged, and there was always someone there when I needed help, reassurance or simply someone to talk to. There are so many wonderful members of staff, including Eunice, Harry, Tanisha, Ishterhill, Patrick, Alice, Umi, Ava, Davidson, Raya and Bonita, as well as others whose names I may have unfortunately missed. My apologies to anyone I haven’t mentioned. The kindness and care I received from the whole team meant an enormous amount to me during a very difficult period, and I’ll always be incredibly grateful to them.
Debbie on reception is always so helpful, patient, kind and welcoming. She seems to work all hours, is often still helping colleagues and patients after 9pm when the hospital is empty. She makes everyone feel at home, comforts family members and children. My family and I are so grateful for her empathetic nature and hospitality. Thank you Debbie!!!!!
Reception was excellent but the desk looks a bit shabby with boxes cluttering the floor.
Easy to park, friendly staff and so good experience overall.

The doctor was highly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to ensure my kid felt comfortable and reassured throughout her treatment. The nursing team, OT was exceptional, caring, supportive, and attentive. They checked on her regularly and made sure she was comfortable at all times. Having her own room also made a big difference, providing a calm and pleasant environment during her stay. My kid felt very well looked after. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness, compassion, and dedication. We would highly recommend this hospital.

Addiction can run in families, but it doesn’t have to define your future. Behind every statistic is a family living with pain, fear and uncertainty - but recovery can bring freedom, hope and change. Jordan and Helen both grew up surrounded by addiction. For Jordan, losing his dad at 13 left him turning to alcohol and drugs as a way of coping. For Helen, alcohol became part of life from an early age, until her own drinking escalated to the point she felt ashamed, isolated, and unable to cope. With support, both found the strength to break the chain. Today, Jordan is rebuilding his life and creating a healthier future, while Helen has overcome her own struggles and discovered a new way forward. Watch their stories and discover more about our BREAK THE CHAIN campaign
