Dr. Triveni Joshi

Dr Triveni Joshi is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical experience, including more than 14 years working specifically in child and adolescent mental health services. Her work focuses on supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families through a holistic, person-centred approach.

Her clinical practice combines careful psychiatric assessment, evidence-based medication management, and psychological formulation, with attention to each young person’s developmental, emotional, and social context. She has extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, trauma-related presentations, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder.

Dr Joshi has worked across the full spectrum of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), including community teams, specialist residential and educational services, general adolescent inpatient units, psychiatric intensive care units (PICUs), and low secure settings. 

Alongside her clinical work, she has held senior leadership and governance roles, including Medical Director and CAMHS Medical Lead positions.
