Prof Bloomfield was the nicest doctor I've met and allowed me to ask all my questions and make the best use of the time possible. I think he may have gone slightly over the time limit which is very much appreciated to make sure our appointment went well and we were set up for the next steps. Furthermore, I really appreciate his empathy and validation in caring not only about my condition, but treating myself as a person and reassuring my family. It goes without saying he is at the top of his field in both research and clinical experience and that provides a great level of reassurance and admiration when speaking too him. I look forward to seeing him again.

With the simplified explanation for admittance I was able to focus on reestablishing a Basic Daily Routine, the change of medication mid-stay meant my QoL went up, the connecting with my spouse meant long term cahnge could be implemented. Julia has been amazing in providing us with really helpful information about how to access services to secure support for my husbands parents even though we were not in a position to take her on as my father in law has not yet been discharged from hospital.
