I was seen by Dr Ahsan as an outpatient. He listened to my history and concerns attentively and was very reassuring. He clearly explained the investigations that I would need and the results of these were clearly explained on a follow up appointment. I was given ample opportunity to ask questions. I was very happy with my care under D Ahsan and would highly recommend him.

When choosing Dr Smith, I spent time reading reviews. He had one of the best set of reviews I saw. The reviews you read are true and accurate. Mr Smith, was, pleasant, personable and had an excellent manner. I felt at ease immediately. He suggested a pathway which was completed at my convenience. Dr Smith was present at the procedure along with the technician and both were great. I was tested and the results were explained in detail, in plain English by Dr Smith. I went away reassured which after all is what I wanted. If you are worried about choosing a specialist I would heartily recommend Dr Smith

After moving from BCH, where I had been a patient since the age of 4, I was nervous and concerned that the 'Adult hospital' wouldn't fully understand my history (it's been complicated) yet I shouldn't have worried at all ! Meeting with Dr Petal, I'm beyond happy that my heart health is in safe hands. Dr Patel puts me at ease, gives me all the information I need and has already made a huge difference to my heart function by changing my medication. He has settled my mind regarding my future. I appreciate that he speaks to me on the level, in a language I can understand; he explains things to me In such an accessible way. It was brilliant from start to finish. Dr Arujuna explained a complex process very well and treated me as a person at all times. He arranged things quickly and was beside me through all the testing and preparation. The procedure was overwhelming in terms of the technology and expertise involved but I was in safe hands. The results have been spectacular - I can now run over 2 minutes a km faster over 10 plus kilometers and am enjoying running again. I recovered very quickly and am planning a marathon. He also went out of his way to support my sister to get tested, in case she had the same genetic heart condition. I can't recommend him highly enough - a total star.
