I had a fantastic experience with my surgery, which was more complex than usual because I have a heart condition. Mr. Munasinghe liaised very carefully with my cardiologist to ensure minimum risk. Mr. Munasinghe has a fabulous bedside manner. Very reassuring and a very good listener -- he can put you at ease. The procedure went very smoothly, thankfully, and my recovery has been swift and successful. Mr. Munasinghe was there each step of the way and I am very grateful to him.

Mr Stuart Gould gave me the time and an good explanation pre surgery. On the Surgery day he explained his plan for the surgery well. Post Surgery he came and saw me and explained what had occured, that it all went as expected. The follow up appointment, Staurt explained the putcome from the surgery and also reassured me on the current pain and swelling. I was very happy with the service provided to date.

What was impressive in the consultation was the time and care in simple language taking me through the "problem" and the solution, and the potential (even if minimal) risks; and in checking that I really did understand what would be involved in the procedure. I therefore left confident in proceeding; and his follow up letter for my GP and insurers set out in detail the full extent of our discussion.

I highly recommend Prof Mughal as I found him extremely considerate, well mannered, kind and super professional. He operated on me for 11 hours - a complete oesophagectomy and a month later I was able to eat and sleep almost as normal. I could not ask for more. Mr Menezes is a very experienced and skilled laparoscopic surgeon. I was not the easiest case, but he got the job done laparoscopicly and as a result my recovery has been quick. He understands all the risks and goes through them at pace, so you have to keep up! But you trust him and he delivers.
