I had a fantastic experience with my surgery, which was more complex than usual because I have a heart condition. Mr. Munasinghe liaised very carefully with my cardiologist to ensure minimum risk. Mr. Munasinghe has a fabulous bedside manner. Very reassuring and a very good listener -- he can put you at ease. The procedure went very smoothly, thankfully, and my recovery has been swift and successful. Mr. Munasinghe was there each step of the way and I am very grateful to him.

I meet Dr Vasilikosta in 2022 when I decided to change my life. Dr. Vasilikosta explained to me all the risk and the benefits of having this surgery and how my life, my health and my future will improve. I started with 155kg on the day of surgery today after 1 year and 6 months my weight is 77,2 kg. Dr Vasilikosta is not only a very good doctor , he listened his patients, he try to help them and he is always there for us. Thank you for all you did for me Dr. Vasilikosta.

From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. What was impressive in the consultation was the time and care in simple language taking me through the "problem" and the solution, and the potential (even if minimal) risks; and in checking that I really did understand what would be involved in the procedure. I therefore left confident in proceeding; and his follow up letter for my GP and insurers set out in detail the full extent of our discussion.
