If you are looking for an ophthalmologist for a cataract look no further - Ms Richardson is the one. I thank my lucky stars for the day I found her. She is simply the best: absolutely delightful, friendly, human, engaging, knowledgeable, caring, reassuring, listens to one and notes down everything one says. She is also an expert clinician having carried out over 25,000 cataract procedures alone. Ms Richardson explains the whole procedure clearly and simply and presents all the options available for the surgery and the new lens and guided me calmly, wisely, sensitively and sensibly throughout the whole process. Successful surgery, great vision and the best ophthalmologist in the world- what more can one want?!

Mr Kersey quickly put me at ease, and was very thorough in asking questions and in his examination of my eyes. His explanations of what he found and also the options for the way forward were very clear and helpful. In addition, his secretary responded very quickly if I had any questions regarding appointment details, which made the whole process very efficient and easy.

Mr Dabbagh is an amazing clinician. He has the rare ability to make sick children listen and smile. My 5 year old son was in a lot of pain and Mr Dabbagh looked after him so well. My son George talks about him as he is his hero that saved his eye. But most importantly I need to say he is a very knowledgeable clinician with so many years of experience . We are very grateful to him for all his care and expert knowledge.

I am relatively young to have cataracts and have always been scared of the optician especially the puffy puffer eye pressure machine. I had to go private as I was too scared to wait. It was the best decision me and my family made. Mr Kasmiya was so kind, gentle and patient with me. He explained everything to me in a kind manner and was clear as to what to expect. He never made me feel silly for being so scared of the operation and helped me throughout my time at the King Edward VII Hospital. His after care has been great no puffer machines! He has always been fair and honest in his diagnosis. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Kasmiya for any optical issues you may have concerns with. I am currently saving for my next eye operation which I know will be as great as the first.

Dr Murphy is a highly skilled surgeon with a sympathetic bedside manner. She is realistic and will only treat you if she can help unlike many other "top" surgeons I have met.
