Dr Paviour seemed very experienced and knowledgeable as well as kind and caring.
The visit was informative and I felt well taken care of. Every step of the consultation and the observation were well explained and so was the diagnosis. I'm feeling reassured and positive and looking forward to next steps
The visit was stress-free; parking was easy, the staff were helpful, and Dr. Paviour was professional and helpful. The only negative comment I have is that, as I had previously seen Dr. Paviour as an NHS patient, I informed his Practice Manager accordingly and gave her my NHS number, assuming that Dr. Paviour would retrieve my records as a background to the visit. However, this was not done and I had to explain my case from scratch.
Dr Saviour was friendly, thorough and clear regarding his diagnosis. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
I found dr Paviour sympathetic and clear in his explanations. I was very satisfied with the consultation.
Dr Paviour made me feel very comfortable and at ease. He did not rush the appointment and gave me time to to ask any questions. He took time to explain to me throughly his thoughts and next steps. I felt very safe.
Dr Paviour was extremely thorough during his visit. He offered an explanation for my symptoms, covering a wide range of issues during his investigative approach. I have seen many doctors recently but few who genuinely cared about why I was suffering. Dr Paviour is the exception, he covered all basis and wanted me to understand my symptoms and plan recovery for them.
My experience with Dr. Paviour was disappointing. Communication was extremely difficult, both with Dr. Paviour and his secretary, and I often found myself having to repeatedly chase information and follow up on matters that I had been told would be handled. After my MRI, I waited a week for the results and was not proactively informed when they became available. When I eventually received an update, I was simply told that everything was fine, but the actual results were not sent to me until I followed up again. I was also promised a prescription that was not sent as agreed, requiring further chasing on my part. When it was eventually arranged, I was directed to a pharmacy some distance from the hospital, only to discover that there was a pharmacy within the hospital that could have been used instead. What I found most frustrating was the lack of follow-up care. Once the MRI results were available, there was no follow-up appointment offered, no discussion of next steps, and no suggestions or recommendations regarding my ongoing concerns. Overall, I felt that the care I received was highly transactional and lacked the level of communication, engagement, and patient support that I would expect from a specialist.

I am sorry that the experience was disappointing. Typically the MRI reports are forwarded to me directly within 24 hours of the scan but for some reason that did not happen after you had your scan. I do my best to send reports to patients as soon as I have them as well as providing information on how to proceed with treatment. I am sorry that this process was not smooth in your case.
Dr Paviour put me at ease. He let me describe my symptoms and listened to my concerns. I was very nervous and he clearly understood this. He sought to reassure me and offered positive and encouraging comments.
