My cataract operation on both eyes was conducted with great skill and reassurance, leading to a painless and successful conclusion. I can highly recommend him.

Excellent Ophthalmologist; Mr Kersey took time to explain the issues with my eyelid and the surgery required. I am very pleased with his work and word recommend him to anyone needing similar treatment.

Mr Kersey has provided me with excellent care and advice over the last three years. Initially I had a cataract surgery which Mr Kersey performed and I cannot fault the process , the attention and the care both pre and post the procedure. The risks and the benefits were fully explained in a very understanding and matter of fact but realistic and pleasant manner. Recently I required a follow up procedure and my experience was the same. It is likely that I will need cataract surgery on the other eye and I will be returning to Mr Kersey for this without any hesitation. I would recommend Mr Kersey's services to you without any hesitation.

I have been very fortunate in having Mr Thomas Kersey as my eye doctor for the past 18 months, when I was first diagnosed with glaucoma. Having a serious and deteriorating eye condition is obviously very worrying, and it was, and is, crucial for me to have a doctor whom I can trust, and with whom I can discuss the matter properly. Mr Kersey has been unfailingly kind and helpful. He has carefully explained everything to me and clearly laid out every option. He has enabled me to talk through my concerns and allowed me to make choices in my treatment – something that is very important to me. I cannot recommend him highly enough. It is worth mentioning that Mr Kersey’s secretary, Suzanne Quilter, is also extremely helpful. She always replies promptly to emails, is happy to pass on information to Mr Kersey, and is extremely efficient and quick at arranging appointments. When I had a problem, she was swiftly able to contact Mr Kersey for me, which helped to gain my trust when I was at a very low point. Although I am obviously upset to have this particular eye condition, having access to excellent medical care is helping me cope with it.

In need of cataract surgery in order to continue driving, my thanks go to Mr. Thomas Kersey for, initially, answering my many and varied questions at the pre-operative consultation - which gave me the confidence to proceed - and for the actual surgery which was completed in a timely and tension-free atmosphere. I am grateful to be restored to a good level of visual acuity.

Mr Kersey took the time to explain to me in detail what the procedure would entail. Prior to first meeting him I was certain I would want an anaesthetic which would make me unaware of what was happening. After our discussion though I felt confident enough to go ahead with just the local anaesthetic -- this turned out to be the right decision on both occasions. It is perhaps worth mentioning that I had previously had 13 operations/procedures and have no fear of hospitals, just "a thing" about eyes. During the operations and the follow ups I have been equally satisfied.

I found Mr Kersey to be very nice, calming and understanding. He made me feel relaxed. His Secretary ,Suzanne , was also very nice. They are very efficient and personable.
