Having worked at some of the leading paediatric and adult eye care centres globally, he has extensive clinical knowledge and experience. He has held consultant posts at numerous prestigious hospitals, including Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Also, he has advanced specialist training in Paediatric Ophthalmology and strabismus management.
Currently, he works as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields NHS Trust. Lloyd also engages in voluntary clinical and educational activities; once a year, he volunteers at a rural eye clinic in Honduras.

I found my experience with Mr Lloyd Bender to be very good. He listened carefully to what I told him, and he was very thorough in his examination of my eyes. The copy of his letter to my GP arrived within 24 hours.
Although the first time we met him at hospital the visit he performed was accurate and he reassured us about a not painful eye issue of our baby, the second time (privately this time and just few weeks later) he had a complete different behaviour and manners. He was not able to visit our baby, was in a hurry and told us an opposite (bad) scenario (denied later). He also did not give us the first meeting letter and it seems there is no way to get it now. I would not recommend him.
