Beautiful facilities but to have to wait over an hour for a private appointment was extremely frustrating and made us miss our next appointment and subsequent train. We should have at least received a text to advise us that the wait was going to be so long and we could have made arrangements so as we didn't miss our other appointment.

Every moment spent at the Spire Dunedin hospital was a wonderful experience. Each nurse I met shared their utmost kindness before, during and after the operation. I was beautifully looked after, and cannot thank them enough.

Everyone was very helpful and professional and almost all of the staff were very friendly and kind. The catering was excellent and the quality of food was superb.

overall my experience was very good and the whole team worked very well complete with a very pleasant attitude. My only issue was as the waiting time over and above my appoint time which in some cases was up to at least half an hour +

The receptionist at The Manor was very pleasant and helpful. Parking was very nearly an issue, despite the early morning appointment and it’s a nightmare for larger vehicles. The hospital itself seems clean, decor a little dowdy - very crowded.

I had cataract operations in each eye with preparatory examinations and follow up examinations at the Bridge Clinic in Maidenhead. I was pleased with the whole experience. The examinations at the bridge were in a specially prepared and equipped room with an outstandingly impressive practitioner. She was good at answering questions about the tests and what they were for. The procedures each took about half an hour and I was immediately comfortable. The result was that I was much better able to see almost as soon as the second procedure had been completed. It was akin to wearing my first pair of spectacles as a child! I could read in bed without spectacles and drive without spectacles as a result of the combination of the prescriptions of each cataract lens. I have subsequently got new spectacles for watching the theatre, and others for prolonged and detailed reading. It is so much better than my pre-cataract vision!

My experience at Parkside was extremely positive. Due to issues with blood cancer, I required additional care both pre and post operation. The staff were up to speed with all my requirements, and took great care to ensure that the treatment I received was strictly in accordance with Mr Sturridge's instructions. The staff were curteous, friendly and efficient. The care I received and the food served were both excellent.
