Freedom Vision have the expertise of some of the UK's most reputable and experienced consultant ophthalmologists. The team at each location is passionate about providing 5-star care and treatment to their patients. The team are patient-centred and care deeply about their patients eye health & vision and lifestyle in order to choose the right eye treatment that suits the patients' lives and futures.
Following cataract surgery, patients have many options for their replacement lenses (intraocular lenses) and have the help of their consultant in making the best decision. Lens options include standard lens implants, multifocal lenses and toric lenses.
Each Freedom Vision clinic is home to the most state-of-the-art equipment. Each patient is treated as an individual, ensuring that they receive the visual outcome they want, delivered with precise care and attention. YAG laser capsulotomy is also available to patients who develop posterior capsule opacification, a common occurrence following cataract surgery.

Impressed beyond words with both the team at Wokingham and the outcome of having cataract surgery. Initially the thought of having surgery on my eyes was terrifying. But the staff were incredibly supportive and made this daunting prospect a bit of a breeze. So much so, I was a little bit miffed when I had to wait 3 weeks for the second op!! The outcome of the surgery was incredible, I went from a -14 glasses prescription (short-sighted), which is pretty much the end of the line as to far as glasses go, to “better than 20/20” vision without glasses. And this is all down to the skills of the surgical team here and the care team who provide the support and encouragement, and make everything run like clockwork.. Thanks to you all it’s been a life-changing experience 👀 Cheers 🍻

overall my experience was very good and the whole team worked very well complete with a very pleasant attitude. My only issue was as the waiting time over and above my appoint time which in some cases was up to at least half an hour +

I couldn't praise Freedom Vision enough, and am so very pleased that I was referred to you. From the beginning, your welcome and your service have been second to none. I have felt that I was a person, not just a patient, given time to ask all my questions and be reassured. The actual surgeries were amazing, and I do want to thank my surgeon, Dr Fakhimi - and the optometrist, Massud - so very much for their expertise. The equipment is superb, too.
