Generally the experience was good and I cannot fault the clinical side which was very professional. The administrative side was disappointing at times. I got the impression that staff were overworked and mistakes were made. They were, however, always very friendly.

Brilliant hospital, helpful and friendly staff.

My experience of the Wilmslow Hospital before, during and after my ear surgery has been excellent. The information I received about my pre-operative assessment and what to expect on the day of surgery was extremely useful and helped me to feel at ease. On the day of my operation, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. All the people involved in my care were friendly and attentive and they couldn't have done more to ensure I was well looked after. The facilities and cleanliness were exceptional and I was made to feel very comfortable during the time I was there. I would definitely recommend this hospital to others.

I was apprehensive about rehab re alcohol dependency after a negative experience in a different clinic 5 years ago....but I needn't have worried as soon as I had my assessments with Colin Jones (therapist) and Dr Fafiolu ( Consultant ) I knew I'd made the right choice .I completed my treatment on 25th March It is such a caring ,compassionate,positive and safe environment and you know that every single member of staff wants the best for you and for you to get better. The staff are all absolutely amazing and that includes Consultant, therapists,Holbrook ward team,housekeeping team and kitchen staff oh and not forgetting the admin & reception teams. It felt like my home for the 28 days and the patients and staff like extended family! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Bristol Priory to anyone that needed help with an addiction .

I didn’t visit the centre but had remote therapy with Rita Sandhu. Rita was fantastic, professional and taught me a lot of useful techniques. I would highly recommend Rita to anybody seeking therapy.

The whole experience was stress free. Good communications, prompt appoitments, very competent and friendly admin & medical staff. Outpatient facilities are very good and the In patient room accommadtion was excellent.

Unbelievable experience with amazing staff that saved my life.

Very comforting and kind hearted people. Couldn't have made 28 days sober without the support and love from the staff and my fellows. There is a close bond you form with everyone who walks through these doors, a bond that I haven't had for a long time with anyone. Thank you for everything and thank you for changing my mindset and making me feel like I can finally change my life

Priory's organisation seemed to be very good. The initial screening call seemed abrupt at the time and very clinical, but the staff member seemed knowledgeable and matched me with a great clinician. I had Kira as my clinician - from the very first session she created a very safe, welcoming space, explained very clearly the path forward we would take and maintained very clear communication throughout all my sessions. I had never tried or even heard of EMDR and she explained it in a way that was very easy to understand and also the reason behind each of the steps and actions. She was very kind, knowledgeable and I felt that the priority was my health above all.
