Mr Malagelada is an open and friendly foot/ankle consultant. He listened carefully to the history of my injury and immediately put me ease with a plan of action to review and resolve the broken phalanx bone. in my foot. Mr Malagelada has a thorough approach to diagnostics and explains procedures and the anatomical processes clearly. He took time to listen to me during each stage of time under his care. Without hesitation, I would recommend Mr Malagelada for any foot injuries which are tricky and complex to resolve.

Gus treated me for a case of Achilles Tendinopathy, and some anterior shin splints. I had been struggling to run comfortably for almost a year when I started seeing Gus. After an initial hands on assessment Gus proceeded to make a plan that included dry needling, massage, strength and plyometrics. Within about 8-10 weeks I was running without pain and continued to see Gus for support while building my training back up to pre-injury levels. I am now running weekly half marathons pain free.

I had such a positive experience, learning a lot about where I have areas to improve, and how to tackle these whilst being mindful of the rest of my ongoing training plan and injury history. I was a little nervous for the first appt as I didn't know of him but he made me feel at ease straight away. Explained everything in detail at each appointment, including possible future treatments. No messing around, organised X-ray and MRI at beginning. Very happy with my treatment and wouldn't think twice about seeing him again for any future muscular skeletal problems. Would also happily recommend him.

Being treated by Tom was an absolute dream, firstly (and perhaps most importantly) he is clearly an incredible surgeon, I actually cannot believe how well my foot has healed and how amazing it looks after such a relatively short time.
