Being treated by Tom was an absolute dream, firstly (and perhaps most importantly) he is clearly an incredible surgeon, I actually cannot believe how well my foot has healed and how amazing it looks after such a relatively short time. Secondly, his manner through the process was wonderful - kind, generous with his time, thoughtful, informed - could not have asked for more.

Clear clinical experience and very friendly manner, he took time to discuss the pros and cons of different options with me.

Very kind. Always had time to talk through things. Friendly and reassuring Maybe check with patient if they want to buy their own paracetamol Vs put on private prescription but that is my only feedback

After my first consultation with Dr Hester I felt completely confident about proceeding with my surgery. He explained everything fully and clearly. He was honest about recovery times and the possible discomfort. I was not disappointed. I am thrilled with my outcome and thanks to his support and help have managed my recovery well. Would highly recommend Dr Hester.

Tom was very easy to interact with and made me feel at ease straight away with his knowledge and character, as I could tell he was confident in his work and ability to help me, whilst showing a lot of empathy and care throughout. This helped reduce/remove any concerns I may have had pre-operation, as well as recovery and functionality post-operation concerns. Tom always made it clear that I could reach out to him at any time if there were any concerns pre and post op. From my initial consultation to surgery, and currently post-op recovery, I've always felt confident and at ease that I will be able to get back to my best pre-injury due to the professionalism and care of Tom and I'm currently recovering really well and faster than expected in certain areas. Also, a huge thank you to Lucy for all her support during the administration side of things. Lucy was very attentive, easy to interact with and showed great professionalism. Thanks again for all your help, Tom!

Mr Hester was very personable from our very first meeting. He made me feel very comfortable about my procedure and explained everything extremely well. This was my very first operation and he put me at ease. His response to any questions or queries was very fast. I am very happy with the service which he provided. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Absolutely excellent experience seeing Mr Hester, even from the moment of reaching out for an appointment, as his team sought out my prior Xrays and he reviewed them, whilst he was on leave! In the consultation he was very kind, thoughtful and easy to talk to. He listened to my experience and problems empathetically, and asked really easy-to-answer questions. He was very thoughtful in his examination, taking care not to cause un-necessary discomfort, but thorough so as to really understand the problem. His explanation of what the problem was and his advice on plans to help me make progress were equally thorough and explained in a super-understandable way. Thank you so much to Lucy for her support in all of the administration work and for keeping me informed, and especially to Mr Hester for such a positive experience.

Mr Hester seems like a very nice consultant , very pleasant to deal with but I didn't really feel I had any benefit from seeing him other than to reassure myself it wasn't anything sinister. I felt like he was giving me the bare minimum advice about what I have and any treatment. He couldn't tell me why I have this or how bad it will become or associated probelms with it. Maybe there really isn't a reason and there really isn't any solution apart from surgery later on but I just came out of my meeting with him feeling none the wiser. I was hoping to come out with a larger understanding and some hacks!
Hi, sorry to hear you came away feeling that your time in the consultation was not beneficial. Please do contact me again via th@os.clinic and I can give you a call and go through things? Many thanks Tom
