When we look back at the last few years, it is hard to put into words just how much of our lives have been part of our journey with Waterstone. We started this journey in 2019 with so much hope, but along the way we faced disappointment after disappointment, bad news that broke our hearts, and then the added uncertainty of a global pandemic. There were times when it felt like our dream of becoming a mam and dad was getting further and further away. Then, finally, came the news we had waited so long for — we were going to have our baby. Our beautiful little boy made every difficult moment worth it, and we will forever be grateful for the role Waterstone played in helping us bring him into the world. We then faced the heartbreak of failed transfers, and now, somehow, after everything we have been through, we are pregnant again. Through every single high and low, one thing has never changed: the incredible support, kindness and care we have received from Waterstone, and especially from Martina and Niamh in Kildare. They have been there for us through some of the happiest and hardest moments of our lives. They have answered every question, reassured us when we were frightened, picked us up when things didn't go our way and celebrated every piece of good news with us. What means the most is that their happiness for their patients feels so genuine — you never feel like you are just another patient or another number. They have cared about our journey and our family as much as we have. We genuinely don't know how we would have got through the last eight years without them. They have been our constant throughout a journey that has been filled with so many emotions, and we will never be able to properly thank them for the kindness, compassion and hope they have given us. Waterstone has been part of our story for the last few years and we will always be incredibly grateful that they helped us get to where we are today — with our beautiful boy and another little miracle on the way. I enjoyed a professional and a comforting appointment experience with Dr David Lucey. Years of medical expertise were clearly evident. Listening to a patients concerns and detailing potential procedure options are an essential and both were appreciated in my consult with The Beauty Doc. The menu of treatments are diverse and lots to suit all types of issues or concerns. I felt cared for and trusted his skill and numerous 5 star reviews. Dr Lucy’s work is delicate and aims to gently enhance - improve appearance. Looking refreshed was my ultimate aim. I have recommended Dr Lucey to many acquaintances as his aesthetic eye is superb. If your goal is to look the best version of yourself he is the very best. His clinic is in a Georgian building with beautiful antiques and ideally located in Nassau street, Dublin 2. 100% recommend.

I had been flagged as a glaucoma, suspect in my home country and came to Medical Optics for a check up after one year to see how my eyes were doing. Everyone was very kind and professional. The wait time was minimal.I had my vision checked right when I was in the waiting room and after that the OCT scans, the field test, etc. I finally sat down with Dr David Shahzarian who carefully went over all my tests with me and showed me the pictures of my eyes and gave me the best news of all that I wasn’t a suspect. He also explained why he came to that conclusion. He told me in the future I could just go to Spec savers. Especially since they do not provide glasses and that kind of vision prescription at Medical Optics. This is a wonderful clinic and I’m only happy that I do not have to return here regularly as my eyes are OK.

My daughter had an educational assessment during the summer and the report has given us so much help going back to school. She already, only a few days back has commented on the difference and is going in happily unlike last year. The report was so great to have as it gave us a lot of information that we were not picking up on at home and my daughters struggles and how it was spilling into home behaviours. Ms Walsh was so nice and thorough and really put us and my daughter at ease. I am only sorry we didn't do it sooner to save my daughter's school troubles over the past 2 years.

I saw Dr. Hepburn for a meniscus repair surgery. This wasn’t my first knee surgery, so I was quite anxious about having another surgery performed on the knee which just underwent surgery in the previous year. Dr Hepburn took the time to explain everything in detail. One thing that really stood out for me as a female athlete was his knowledge and interest about female knee injuries. I felt very supported throughout the whole process and am making a great recovery so far. Would definitely come back to Dr. Hepburn (but I hope I don’t have to!).
