Dr Amar Thiyab

Dr Amar Thiyab is the Principal Dentist and Owner of Killiney Dental, dedicated to providing the highest standards of oral care. Graduating from dental school in 2007, he worked as a general dentist for six years across three different countries, which fueled his passion for beautiful smiles and teeth restorations. Motivated to enhance his skills in these fields, Dr Thiyab pursued further studies in restorative and implant dentistry at a postgraduate level, earning a Master’s of Science degree in 2017 from UiTM University. In the same year, he was awarded a Fellowship in Periodontology and Implantology from Genova University.

A member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) since 2014, Dr Thiyab specialised in complete dental rehabilitation at the Faculty of Dentistry at UiTM University, where he later served as a senior lecturer in restorative dentistry. His academic work has allowed him to exceed patient expectations through science-based best practices. Dr Thiyab’s daily philosophy is centred on listening to and collaborating with his patients throughout the treatment and decision-making processes, with patient satisfaction as his ultimate goal.
