Dr Mohammed Omar

Dr. Mohammed Omar is a skilled cardiologist with over 14 years of experience in his field. He earned his medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt and completed his rigorous training in Cardiology at the esteemed National Heart Institute, also in Cairo. Following this, he pursued further specialisation in Interventional Cardiology through a fellowship at the same institution, honing his expertise in procedures such as Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and cardiac device implantation.

With a career that includes eight years of practice at various university hospitals in Ireland, Dr. Omar has established himself as a leader in his field. He has advanced skills in the management of heart failure and has a particular interest in cardiac imaging, including Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography. Notably, he serves as a member of the Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training team at St. James's Hospital in Dublin.
