I honestly walked into Dr Sarah's clinic carrying years of frustration. Ever since i had my lower right wisdom tooth removed years ago, i was convinced the dentist had damaged the tooth infront of it during the extraction. The tooth eventually fracture and became extremely sensitive, and in my mind i had already decided what had happened. Because of that, i developed alot of distrust and kept putting off treatment. My medical doctor told me "If you want the truth, go see Dr Sarah. She's one of the few dentists who will tell you exactly what is going on, even if it means not doing treatment." That recommendation was probably the best dental advise i ever received. What stood out immediately was how much time she spent investigating before saying anything. She didn't just glance at an xray and jumped into conclusions, in fact she refused to put the blame on my previous dentist. She took photos, showed me the xrays, drew diagrams, showed me in the mirror, and walked me through the entire history of the tooth. Within minutes i realized what i had believed for years wasn't actually the full story. The tooth had an old filling and deep decay hidden underneath it, which had weakened it long before the wisdom tooth was extracted by my old dentist. Nobody had ever explained it to me in a way that made sense until that day. I left the consultation feeling relieved more than anything else, and the grudge i had towards my previous dentists were gone although i should have been informed that a tooth had been fractured during the procedure. It sounds silly, but it felt like a weight had been lifted because i finally understood that it was not a perfectly healthy tooth that had been broken, but rather it revealed that it also needs a treatment. The treatment itself was even more impressive! Other dentists say this tooth would most certainly need a root canal treatment. Dr Sarah explained that while it might eventually need one in the future, she wanted to first try the most conservative approach possible. Her attention to detail was incredible. You could tell she genuinely cared about preserving my natural tooth rather than automatically choosing the bigger procedure. She carefully removed the decay and the old broken filling while protecting the nerve, then placed a specially designed restoration with medication underneath known as "indirect pulp capping." The difference was unbelivable!! A tooth that had become so sensitive to even air is now completely pain free. No lingering ache. No sensitivity. No constant reminder every time i eat. I almost forget which tooth it was. The moment that really earned my trust was when i asked about my remaining wisdom tooth. I was expecting to hear that it should come out too. My experience with Dr Hatem Dalati has genuinely been life changing. In 2024, I underwent rhinoplasty primarily to correct a deviated septum because I was experiencing significant breathing difficulties. While having that surgery, I also made some cosmetic changes to my nose. My main priority, however, was always to improve my breathing. Unfortunately, after the surgery, my breathing did not improve. In fact, over time it became increasingly problematic. I was later told that excess skin was contributing to the issue, and I underwent a further procedure where I was cut and re-stitched in an attempt to resolve the problem. Despite this, my breathing continued to worsen. The ongoing issues began affecting every aspect of my life. My sleep suffered, my daily activities became more difficult, and it had a significant impact on both my personal life and my ability to manage a very busy schedule. I became frustrated and uncertain about where to turn next. Most importantly, I had no trust in doctors and was extremely hesitant to undergo another procedure. Meeting Dr Hatem Dalati completely changed that experience for me. From my very first consultation, he was honest, caring, thorough, and genuinely invested in helping me. Unlike many doctors I had encountered, he took the time to explain exactly what was causing my breathing issues, what could realistically be done to fix them, and what outcomes I could expect. He never made promises he couldn't keep, and that honesty gave me confidence and peace of mind. What stood out most was the level of care he provided throughout the entire process. Even after surgery, he continued to see me regularly, monitor my progress, clean and check my nose, and ensure I was healing properly. My appointment was scheduled for 8:20 AM; however, I was only seen by the doctor at approximately 9:10 AM. I arrived on time and underwent the initial checks with the nurse (e.g., blood pressure), which took about five minutes. At that point, the doctor was already attending to another patient, which appears to have contributed to the delay. The consultation itself was generally satisfactory. The doctor was able to address my questions regarding the differences between allergic bronchitis, acid reflux, and GERD. However, I encountered issues during the discussion on prescribed medications. I requested Telfast (Fexofenadine) instead of Loratadine, as it has been more effective for me in the past. When I asked about the difference between the two antihistamines, my question was dismissed with the response: “It’s a long discussion. If this is what you want, I can give you Telfast instead. You are the boss.” This response felt dismissive and did not provide the clarity I was seeking. Additionally, I mentioned that I was uncomfortable using the nasal spray, as I was unsure how to use it correctly and often experienced the taste of the medication. In response, the doctor said: “I’m trying to give you medicine but you keep changing it. Should we follow you or should we follow what I say?” This came across as discouraging and made me feel that my concerns were not being fully considered. I would also like to note that I have consistently raised my questions and preferences with other doctors in the past, and they have always been gracious and open to discussion. In contrast, Dr. Guevarra seemed less receptive to patient input and appeared uncomfortable when I shared my preferences. This was disappointing, especially as I had chosen him expecting a more relatable and understanding interaction with a kabayan. While the doctor may have good intentions, I felt that the consultation could have benefited from more active listening and patient engagement. At times, the interaction gave the impression that my input as a patient was not fully valued. Dr. Guevarra came across as somewhat prideful and unwilling to fully consider the patient’s perspective. It gave me the impression that, simply because he is the doctor, his view was considered final, rather than creating space for an informed and collaborative discussion with the patient.

The process is not practical at all. A call before the dr. A payment link that need another phone to pay (not practical at all. Using a bar code to scan from a link that 99.9% will be opened via phone is not practical whatsoever). The Dr. Call is great but to get to that call is a huge hussle. Pharmacy wait time is very long. They should claim or contact insurance for approval automatically it is not convenient to pick up a ticket, wait for my time to come, then they start asking me to wait for them untill they submit for approval and recall my name again. It is ridiculous to wait for almost 1 hour to pickup my medication. Also, consultation fees can be combined with the pharmacy charge instead of paying online in a very hard to handle system
