Subject: Complaint Regarding Overcharging and Lack of Consent – Dental Visit on 11 Feb 2025 I visited Dr. Heba Javed (Dental) for a check-up due to tooth pain on 11.02.2025 at 6:20 PM. I am writing to file a complaint regarding the way I was treated and charged during this visit. My consultation fee was AED 46, and I was required to pay AED 17 as coinsurance for the X-ray. Therefore, my total payable amount should have been AED 63. However, the cashier charged me AED 192. When I asked about the additional amount, I was told that an electric dental test had been performed and the remaining charges were for that. I was never informed by the doctor that this test would involve an additional cost of AED 650, nor was I asked for consent to proceed with it, which resulted in an extra AED 130 payable from my side. Furthermore: * The doctor did not explain or seek my permission before conducting the test. * The cashier issued me a receipt showing only AED 63, despite charging AED 192. * When I requested a receipt for the full payment, I was told approval had not yet been submitted. * If approval had not been obtained, I do not understand why the test was conducted without informing me or taking my permission, and why payment was collected in advance. * When I asked for a payment breakdown before paying, the cashier refused and asked me to pay first, and even after payment, no proper breakdown was provided. I am willing to pay the legitimate amount of AED 63 that I owe. I request that the additional AED 130 be refunded to me immediately. I intend to visit again tomorrow to resolve this matter. If it is not resolved, I will be compelled to pursue further action through the appropriate legal or regulatory authorities to protect my rights. I have been visiting Prime Medical Center for some time, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Dr. Salam, who is truly an outstanding doctor and one of the best doctors I have encountered. However, I would like to raise a concern regarding the conduct of some front-desk staff members. Specifically, the Arab cashier staff member, as well as the Arab and Filipino male staff at reception, demonstrated unprofessional behavior. The manner in which they communicated with patients was not appropriate and did not reflect the expected standard of service. As an employee of Air Arabia, our company has an agreement with the insurance provider, and Prime is one of our main clinics. As oer the normal process I can get a referal letter from any GP doctor in your clinic to see a specialist However, I was repeatedly informed that I needed to obtain a referral number directly from the insurance company . I would like to thank the local lady seated in the cashier area who took the initiative to assist me by checking directly with the doctor and obtaining the referral letter. Even after Dr. Rayan issued the referral, the Arab staff member refused to proceed with my registration, and the local staff member had to handle the registration herself. I hope this matter will be taken into consideration and reviewed to ensure a better patient experience in the future.

I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for Dr. Hussain Ismail, who treated me during our visit to Prime Medical Centre Ajman on 08 February. From the very start, Dr. Hussain was calm, attentive, and extremely thorough. He took the time to properly assess my condition and, most importantly, was very mindful of the fact that I am a heart patient. This level of awareness immediately gave me confidence and reassurance. He carefully reviewed my medical history and current medications, and made sure that the treatment and medications he prescribed would not interfere with my existing heart medications. His approach was both cautious and well-informed, striking the right balance between treating my immediate condition effectively while prioritizing my long-term health and safety. Dr. Hussain explained everything clearly, answered our questions patiently, and ensured that I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the consultation. His professionalism, medical expertise, and genuine concern for patient well-being truly stood out. Doctors like Dr. Hussain Ismail are the reason patients feel safe placing their trust in a healthcare facility. I am very grateful for the care I received and highly recommend him to anyone seeking a doctor who is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely patient-centered.

Your call centre team is completely pathetic. I called regarding to book an appointment at Burjuman branch. The lady didn’t booked and appointment for me and didn’t even mentioned what time to reach by maximum for walking to the hospital it was just only mentioned doctor is available till 10pm. Mr. Naeem Uddin mentioned as manager of call centre with the attitude voice claiming it’s not our problem and you can’t blame us. It’s to be understood to walk in by 9pm So do you think the patient is a god and will get a dream to reach by maximum 9. If the slots are not available I didn’t forced to book an appointment for me I would have simply walk to another hospital. Despite of this Mr Naeem Uddin is showing me an attitude instead of an resolution, So the prime medical health centre treats the patients in such a manner??? If this is an attitude there are other hospital and clinics. I would like to get an apology call or necessary actions to be taken against such negative behaviour. Thanks to Mr. Nilesh and reception boy I don’t know his name he was Filipino at 9;30 shift please give him 5star he helped and get my consultation done

I met the dentist at 2:00pm, before that I asked if dental coverage was included in my insurance plan and you guys said yes and I went ahead and consulted then you guys call me at 6 pm to pay 250aed for consultation and get reimbursed ? I double checked before the consultation because I’m switching the insurance company and this will be done in 3 days , meaning no money will be refunded. And I have to pay this ? It is my health, on that we agree but I love to be informed so I plan my money. BTW this is a mistake from both our sides , mostly yours thou ! So we should both pay so a 50% discount sounds reasonably fair given that you didn’t give me choice to . I could have waited for the insurance change or found a cheaper option. Apart from these, the Doctors were Both Great and friendly.

I would like to share my experience with Dr. Usha Kiran, whom I truly believe is one of the best gynecologists in Dubai. She performed my myomectomy surgery, which lasted nearly 4 hours and was quite complex due to my multiple previous C-section pregnancies. Despite the challenges, she managed to save my uterus and remove only the fibroids. Her expertise and calm approach gave me so much confidence. Dr. Usha Kiran is extremely kind, patient, and supportive. She explained the entire procedure in detail and made sure I understood everything, which really helped ease my anxiety. I would also like to thank the staff at Prime Hospital Al Garhoud for their excellent care and attention. My stay was very comfortable, and I felt well looked after throughout. Highly recommended.

I don’t where to start. Been here a couple of times and from my experience been really good with all support staff from, chemotherapy dept, especially not forget Ms Eidth, who was kind and supportive and explained the process clearly. They make sure to calm the patient. My doctor Mr.Alawi is also been very knowledgeable and clarifying all queries and been through my journey of treatment. All nurses including head nurse and Anisha , was very careful while inserting canula and handling patients. Every staff make sure to comfort the patient and take genuine good care of them. I would surely recommend this place to all who wish to undergo chemotherapy in Dubai. I thank team for their dedication and kindness.

I went there to do the next checkup after taking all the medicines, before I came I have asked if it is okay to change the doctor since my previous doctor is on leave so they gave another but that new one is not clear with everything she just wasted my time going and paying the fees. She asked me to lay down coz she wanted to check but suddenly changed her mind and rescheduled me again . I supposed to have another ultrasound on the same day too but nothing happened.. she was in hurry and even asked me to go in without checking my bp and other stats first. She just read my previous results even if I already knew it and im totally clear about it
