Dr. Ghada Ahmed Abdel Halim

Dr Ghada Abdel Halim is a DOH-licensed Family Medicine Specialist with extensive experience across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings in the UAE and Sudan. She is a patient-focused and compassionate physician who is skilled at diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions across all age groups. Her clinical approach is rooted in careful assessment of patient history, detailed review of investigations and clear communication to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective, individualised treatment plans.

Dr Ghada is currently practising at Mediclinic Al Madar. Being a member of Mediclinc since 2017 enhansed her vision towards Patient Safety and Privision of High standard of care. 

Dr. Ghada enhanced her professional expertise by obtaining several postgraduate qualifications in healthcare, including the MRCGP (Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners), the SCOPE Certificate in Obesity Management, and a Diploma in Healthcare Management.These accomplishments led to her promotion as Medical Director of two of the largest and most reputable medical centers: Mediclinic Zakher and Mediclinic Al Madar, where she served separately in leadership roles.

Dr. Ghada has extensive experience in the management and long-term follow-up of patients with chronic diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia. Her strong clinical background, combined with her leadership expertise, allows her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care while maintaining high standards of medical excellence. 

She has a particular interest in women’s health within Family Medicine, including family planning, antenatal care and the management of infectious diseases. This allows her to provide comprehensive, continuous care for women at different stages of life. Her broad emergency and obstetric experience enables her to confidently manage labour-related emergencies and ensure maternal and fetal safety.

Dr Abdel Halim graduated with an MBBS from Al Ahfad University for Women in Sudan. In addition to her clinical work, she has been actively involved in teaching and community health initiatives, including serving as a part-time teaching assistant in a problem-based learning programme and participating in rural outreach projects aimed at improving awareness around family planning, harmful traditional practices and environmental health.
