Dr. Omid Rahat

Dr. Omid Rahat is a highly experienced ENT, Head and Neck, and Facial Aesthetic Surgeon currently practicing at Burjeel Royal Hospital in Al Ain. With decades of clinical and surgical experience, he is widely regarded as one of the most experienced rhinoplasty surgeons in the region. His practice combines functional ENT surgery with advanced aesthetic facial procedures, allowing him to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Rahat earned his medical degree from the University Medical School of Debrecen, Hungary, in 1994. He later obtained the National Board certification in ENT, Head and Neck Surgery in Budapest in 2002, and became a Fellow of the European Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery in 2013. Throughout his career, he has pursued extensive postgraduate training, completing advanced courses in Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, rhinoplasty and aesthetic facial surgery, ear microsurgery, and post-laryngectomy voice rehabilitation.

Before joining Burjeel Royal Hospital, Dr. Rahat gained valuable clinical experience at leading institutions including Tawam Hospital and Zulekha Hospitals. He has significant experience managing busy outpatient ENT departments and routinely performs a wide range of surgical procedures.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rahat has contributed to medical education as a lecturer at the United Arab Emirates University Medical Faculty and as a faculty member of the ENT residency programme at Tawam Hospital. He is also actively involved in research, reviewing for journals such as ENT News and The Laryngoscope and regularly presenting at international conferences.
