He has previously worked as a consultant surgical oncologist in Zulekha Hospital and a senior consultant in surgical oncology at Apollo Specialty Cancer Centre.
After graduating from Madurai Medical College in 2003 with an MBBS, Dr Rathanaswamy went on to complete an MS in general surgery at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh. He then undertook an MCh (Gold Medalist) in surgical oncology at King George Medical University in Lucknow in 2013. Dr Rathanaswamy also gained fellowship of the American College of Surgeons and the European Board of Surgery. In addition, he has membership of a number of associations including the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the Emirates Oncology Society affiliated with Emirates Medical Association UAE. Throughout his career, Dr Rathanaswamy has been involved in research and has a large number of publications and has presented his work at conferences, both national and international..

Dr Sivaprakash’s expertise and explanation is excellent! He has been very helpful to me throughout my treatment process and doing a successful surgery. My gratitude extends also to Nurse Reshma and Dhona for their hospitality, kindness, and selfless care during my recovery time at the hospital.

Commendable experience as very highly skilled surgeon especially endurable in 3 surgeries which was done for my wife in form of inserting, removing chemo port & finally additional margin as she was diagnosed with Ewings sarcoma as type of cancer

Good doctor. He is very simple and gentle in his behavior. He will give sufficient time to each patient. He studies the patient and disease meticulously. We can freely interact with the doctor. He prefers surgery when it is very much required only. I never found commercial nature in him.Highly recommended ❤️❤️

Dr. Sivaprakash is very professional oncologist surgeon, he is very caring and he took care of all my needs. Before and after my surgery, he ensure that i will get all the things i need. He is also very thoughtful after my stomach surgery he taught me what are the foods I have to eat, the exercise I have to do, etc... I am very thankful that he is my surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Sivaprakash 😊
