My Journey with Dr. Satendra Kumar Multani, Endocrinologist More than ten years ago, when I first met Dr. Satendra Kumar Multani, I was in one of the toughest phases of my health journey. I weighed 107 kg, struggled with uncontrolled diabetes, and felt overwhelmed by how far things had slipped. Today, I look back with gratitude, because that first consultation with Dr. Kumar marked the beginning of a complete turnaround in my life. Under his guidance, my weight has come down to 99 kg—and more importantly, I’ve been able to maintain healthier habits and better control of my diabetes for over a decade. My HbA1c levels have stayed stable and improved consistently, something I once thought was impossible. Dr. Kumar’s approach has always been holistic: he didn’t just give prescriptions; he empowered me with knowledge. With his continuous support, his meticulous monitoring, and the right balance of medication, diet, and exercise, I learned how to take control of my health rather than let it control me. His reassurance and clear direction kept me on track even during difficult moments. What stands out most is his genuine care. Dr. Kumar didn’t just treat numbers—he treated me as a whole person. Thanks to his expertise and encouragement, I am healthier, more confident, and far more aware of how to manage my condition responsibly. The waiting time is long. The staff will not share the details of your temperature and BP if the patient did not ask for it. I receive notification that e-prescription is ready but I have not yet seen the doctor for the consultation and diagnosis. The billing will not be sent to your email if you have not requested for it. I went to Prime to see the doctor as I have colds, cough, head ache & look likes flu symptoms but the prescriptions include drugs for hypertension and uric (I have informed the doctor that I still have medicine as I just received my 90 days medicine last October 7, 2025). The previous drug for uric is 40 mg Febuday brand and it was change now to 80 mg Adenuric brand. There is no explanation or laboratory basis for the changes of the mg as it was not part of the consultation. I have noticed on the sick leave certificate that the diagnosis are acute sinusitis, unspecified gout, unspecified hyperlipidemia and unspecified (E78.5) which were not discussed in the consultation. And it will take long time to wait again in order to discuss this with the doctor as there are patient inside the room. .i don’t really questions doctor diagnosis but at least this must be informed to the patient particularly if these will be written on the sick leave certificate.

I arrived today for my follow-up appointment at 8 PM. Due to heavy traffic, I reached at 8:20 PM. The nurse asked me to register, so I went to the reception. When I went to Counter 3 (with no other patients waiting), the staff spoke to me very rudely in front of others, saying “Why you came here? I will call you.” When he called my number again, he refused to check my profile and spoke harshly, asking “Who are you?” and “Why are you 30 minutes late?” His tone and behaviour were completely unacceptable for a healthcare facility. For a clinic like Prime, such unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour from staff is very disappointing. Management should address this immediately.
