I am happy to pass on to others my deep appreciation for the C5/C6 Spinal Fusion operation Ivan performed. It is difficult for a non-medical person to understand the incredible complexity of what a neurosurgeon does, but I can attest to the remarkable quality of life changes that can flow from such surgery. I experienced significant benefits immediately after surgery, and am comfortable in the knowledge that this surgery has forestalled future problems that would have been much more challenging to address at a later time in my life. I am grateful Ivan was willing to operate on a Saturday just two days after our consultation, and appreciate the significant effort of his staff in arranging a hospital and getting a team together at such short notice.

I’ve had two operations with Dr Awad doing both. Dr Awad has been so professional, transparent and supporting both times. He truly does have my best interest at heart and I’m confident he treats all his patients with the same level of care. He is straightforward and I really appreciate that. Two Drs that were involved in my second operation mentioned they trust Dr Awad to do the same operation on them if needed and not that I hope for anymore surgeries, but if I do, it will only be Dr Awad who operates on me. He is very trustworthy therefore I wouldn’t want anyone else but him to help in the future.
