Dr Zoe Rooney

Dr Zoe Rooney is a Consultant Paediatrician dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for children and young people. Specialising in general, acute, and ambulatory paediatrics, she offers comprehensive medical evaluations and personalised treatment plans for infants, children, and adolescents facing a broad spectrum of medical issues. Her clinical focus centres on delivering accurate diagnoses and effective clinical care to support optimal physical and emotional well-being throughout childhood.

With extensive expertise in managing both acute medical presentations and ongoing complex conditions, Dr Rooney provides care across rapid access clinics and ambulatory care settings. Her specific clinical interests include paediatric emergency care, outpatient ambulatory medicine, and outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (OPAT) for complex childhood infections. She works in close partnership with multidisciplinary medical teams, parents, and carers to deliver clear communication, reassurance, and individualised care tailored to each child's needs.

Dr Rooney completed formal specialist postgraduate training in paediatrics and holds full specialist registration alongside Advanced Paediatric Life Support certification.
