Mr Yun Wong

I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, with specialist expertise in cataract surgery, oculoplastic surgery, orbital surgery and a wide range of eyelid procedures. My work includes the management of functional and reconstructive eye conditions as well as delicate eyelid and peri‑orbital surgery.

Alongside my NHS role, I run a private practice at Nuffield Health Tees Hospital, where I offer advanced specialist procedures such as ptosis correction, eyelid reconstruction, cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), skin lesion removal and other oculoplastic treatments. I am committed to delivering personalised, high‑quality care

I completed advanced fellowships in oculoplastic and orbital surgery in Newcastle upon Tyne and Brisbane, Australia, building extensive expertise in both functional and cosmetic periocular surgery.
