Dr Wendy Craig

Dr Wendy Craig is an experienced Consultant General Surgeon dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-focused surgical care. Specialising in General Surgery, Dr Craig provides comprehensive evaluation and management for a broad spectrum of surgical conditions. Her objective and empathetic approach ensures that patients feel well-informed, reassuringly supported, and confident in their treatment plans.

Dr Craig earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) during her undergraduate training at the University of Aberdeen. Demonstrating a key commitment to healthcare quality and public health, she subsequently acquired a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Doctorate level qualification. She completed her higher surgical training in Scotland, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). Her clinical expertise was further enriched through a sub-specialty fellowship in Cardiff, as well as focused clinical fellowships in Europe and Canada.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Craig has held significant leadership roles, including serving as a Clinical Director within the National Health Service. Her core clinical practice includes surgical interventions such as hernia repairs, gallbladder procedures, and the removal of skin lesions. Utilising evidence-based and minimally invasive surgical techniques, Dr Craig focuses on delivering optimal surgical outcomes and supporting her patients through every step of their recovery.
