Dr Walton D'Costa is a highly experienced consultant neonatologist and paediatrician with over 25 years of experience. He gained his medical degree from Goa University in 1995 and has trained at some of the UK's most prestigious hospitals, including St George's Hospital, King's College Hospital, and Evelina Children's Hospital, London.
Walton is based at Childhealthy and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, where he specialises in infant growth and development.
In addition to his wealth of experience, Walton is also a UNICEF-trained breast-feeding specialist and uses Bayley scales for tracking infant neurodevelopment.
As Walton himself says, "There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a smiling child and a thankful parent leaving the neonatal unit or outpatient clinic."
He speaks both Hindi and English.

Dr Walton D’Costa saved our baby’s life by advising us to go straight to A&E a couple of weeks ago. He was the first doctor (after three appointments with other doctors) to recognise that she had symptoms of sepsis. He also proactively came to visit our daughter at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital while she was recovering on the Mercury Ward, which was an incredibly positive surprise during a very difficult time for us.
