Dr Vivek Mohan

Dr Vivek Mohan is an experienced Consultant Medical Oncologist who specialises in the comprehensive management of complex oncological conditions. His primary clinical focus encompasses the treatment of breast cancer in both female and male patients, as well as cancer of unknown primary. Working alongside multidisciplinary care teams and cancer support specialists, Dr Mohan provides tailored, patient-centred care that prioritises clear communication and holistic wellbeing throughout every stage of diagnosis and treatment.

Dr Mohan earned his primary medical qualifications at the University of Pune, graduating in 1998. Following his medical degree, he completed extensive postgraduate higher specialist training in medical oncology across respected teaching centres in the United Kingdom, including Oxford, Cambridge, Nottingham, and the Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology. This thorough educational foundation has provided him with advanced clinical knowledge in modern oncological practices.

In addition to managing established diagnoses, Dr Mohan maintains a key interest in early diagnosis, including the investigation of non-specific but concerning symptoms that may suggest underlying malignancy. His treatment expertise spans a broad range of systemic anti-cancer therapies, including standard adjuvant, neo-adjuvant, and palliative chemotherapy, as well as immunotherapy. He is also highly skilled in prescribing targeted therapies, such as anti-HER2 treatments, PARP inhibitors, and CDK 4/6 inhibitors, to deliver individualised therapeutic strategies for his patients.
