To clarify my diagnosis, Dita organised and guided me through several appointments - invaluable support at a very stressful time.

Everyone at GC Bristol is wonderful. It's to the point where I can't shout out one person in particular because the quality of the care provided by the whole staff was second to none. My family has been rather unfortunate with the Big C so my father has extensive experience of other chemotherapy wards. He's described the care I received as worlds apart from when my mother was bring treated on the NHS. NHS staff are also wonderful but they are handling a million cases so multiple chairs per nurse. Every time I was treated one of the nurses was helping me basically 1:2:1. Chemo is dreadful but the folks at GC Bristol were so lovely that I didn't dread attending. We took one step along the trail together at every dose. They held my hand, gave me a hug and joked along with me knowing my biggest coping mechanism is my awful sense of humour. I'd buy them all a Birthday present every time my birthday comes along. Every year is a celebration of the GC team's hard work.
