Dr. Vanitha Karunakaran

Dr. Karunakaran is a highly regarded Consultant Endocrinologist based in South London, with her NHS practice located at St George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She earned her medical degree from Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in 2009 and has a strong academic foundation, holding an MSc in Clinical Endocrinology & Diabetes from Queen Mary University of London.

She has a particular interest in managing a range of endocrine conditions, including pituitary and adrenal disorders, obesity and weight management, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid and parathyroid disorders, as well as male and female hypogonadism and menopause.
