Dr Umair Mohammed is a highly dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides expert diagnostic and therapeutic care for individuals experiencing complex digestive tract and gastrointestinal conditions. With a comprehensive approach to digestive health, Dr Mohammed focuses on delivering compassionate, evidence-based medical care tailored to each patient's individual needs.

Dr Mohammed began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Sciences with Honours in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London. He subsequently completed his primary medical qualification, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Following his medical degree, he completed extensive postgraduate specialty training in Gastroenterology, establishing a strong foundation in diagnostic and therapeutic luminal and hepatobiliary care.

In his clinical practice, Dr Mohammed specialises in advanced endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), cholangioscopy, colonoscopy, and complex polyp endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). His therapeutic and diagnostic capabilities also encompass small bowel enteroscopy, polyposis endoscopy, and gastrointestinal stenting and dilatation. He maintains a deep clinical focus on managing conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, Barrett's oesophagus, eosinophilic oesophagitis, polyposis syndromes, pancreatitis, colorectal cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
