Dr Tom Dawson

Dr Tom Dawson is a Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert clinical care for infants, children, and young people. As a General Paediatrician with dedicated expertise in paediatric allergy and infectious diseases, he offers comprehensive assessments and holistic management for a broad spectrum of childhood medical conditions. Dr Dawson is dedicated to supporting young patients and their families by delivering compassionate, high-quality, and evidence-based care.

In his clinical practice, Dr Dawson focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of allergic disorders, including food allergies, eczema, allergic rhinitis, asthma, urticaria, and anaphylaxis. He performs advanced diagnostic procedures such as skin-prick testing, as well as supervised food and drug challenge procedures. Additionally, he provides specialised allergen desensitisation therapy through immunotherapy for children with persistent or severe allergic conditions.

Dr Dawson completed his undergraduate medical studies at University College London, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He subsequently undertook specialist postgraduate study at Imperial College London, graduating with a Master of Science (MSc) in Allergy. He is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and holds membership in the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI). He also serves as Chair for the Three Counties Allergy Group and the Midlands Paediatric Allergy Group.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Dawson maintains a strong commitment to paediatric research and clinical education. He leads initiatives to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment standards in paediatric allergy care. By collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, he ensures that every child receives an individualised treatment plan designed to support their long-term health and well-being.
