Dr Thomas Lambert

Dr Thomas Lambert is a dedicated Consultant Neurologist who provides comprehensive care for individuals facing a wide range of neurological conditions. Known for his approachable and patient-centred manner, he is committed to delivering clear diagnostic guidance and personalised management plans. He works closely with patients and their families to ensure they feel fully informed, supported, and confident in their care decisions.

Dr Lambert earned his degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge before obtaining a PhD in behavioural neurobiology at the University of Bristol. Following post-doctoral research in molecular neuroscience in Germany, he completed his medical training at the University of Birmingham and undertook specialist registrar training in neurology across the West Midlands. He serves as a Co-Director for a regional care and research network dedicated to neurodegenerative care and is an active member of a national clinical studies group.

In his clinical practice, Dr Lambert focuses on motor neurone disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, leading multidisciplinary care initiatives and serving as a lead researcher on innovative clinical drug trials. His expertise also encompasses cognitive neurology, including the assessment and management of dementia and memory disorders. By integrating clinical research into routine practice, Dr Lambert actively strives to expand treatment options and improve quality of life for his patients.
