The whole department was beautifully run. The receptionist was warm, welcoming, and a super balance of chatty and professional. I was quickly seen by Nurse Andrea who was the embodiment of warmth and reassurance. I was then called through to see Mr Gray who instantly set me at ease with his calm, professional, but also caring nature. He was very clear about what would happen and careful to ensure that I was happy and comfortable. He really was exemplary in every way. It’s difficult to say quite how good he was, genuinely, by the time I left, I actually felt rather emotional because I had almost cancelled the appointment. I had waited so long for it, so by the time it came around, I was a little worried that I didn’t know which complaint of mine we were now addressing, and was concerned that I might be perceived to have been wasting the service’s time. Mr Gray couldn’t have been more reassuring, yet he was also wonderfully concise at each point. He allowed me the time to explain anything I felt needed addressing and took each thing seriously, yet he was quick about it all too. He was clear about why I was experiencing the issues that I was, and these explanations made perfect sense. He told me what he would do next in order to address these issues. I would like to thank Mr Gray very sincerely, he is the greatest asset I have known the NHS to have, I truly mean that.

I saw Mr Gray on Tuesday, the 28th of September I was very pleased with my appointment and he managed to tell me what my problem was after a cytology Examination I was a bit late going in and I think if I'd been on time I would've had a bit more time to ask him more questions. But overall I was delighted that Mr Gray Managed To diagnose my problem And offer me the correct treatment Something I've been striving for for a very long while within the gynaecology department

My experience before, during and after my procedure was of exceptional quality. Everything was very clearly explained and answers were clear when I asked. I was able to be relaxed during the procedure because I had full confidence in Mr Gray and the nurse present. They were competent, friendly and respectful. I had a very good experience. Parking was cheap and the coffee and scone in the cafe was good quality.
