About Dr Thomas Gray

Dr Thomas Gray is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Subspecialist Urogynaecologist who graduated with honours from the University of Sheffield in 2008. He completed his postgraduate training in gynaecology across Yorkshire before undertaking dedicated subspecialty training in urogynaecology at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, developing specialist expertise in the assessment and management of conditions affecting the pelvic floor and lower urinary tract.

Following his clinical training, he was awarded an MD in 2020 for his research into the development of electronic patient-reported outcome measures (ePROMs). His clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of vaginal and pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence and recurrent urinary tract infections, helping patients understand their condition and choose an appropriate treatment approach.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Gray is deeply involved in medical education and academic publishing, maintaining an active role in the research community. He has contributed to more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the research committee of the British Society of Urogynaecology. He also serves on the editorial board of The Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, a prominent clinical journal, supporting the development and dissemination of research and evidence within obstetrics and gynaecology.
