Mr Thomas Ellul

Mr Thomas Ellul is a Consultant Urologist who provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for a wide range of urological conditions. He is dedicated to delivering evidence-based clinical care with a patient-centred approach, ensuring individuals understand their diagnosis and feel supported throughout their treatment.

His clinical work encompasses benign prostate disorders, lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary stone disease, and recurrent urinary tract infections. As a Consultant Urological Surgeon, Mr Ellul performs modern, minimally invasive procedures including Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP), prostatic urethral lift (Urolift), Aquablation therapy, and transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). His procedural expertise also includes cystoscopy, bladder neck incision, transurethral resection of bladder tumours, stone removal, vasectomy, circumcision, and scrotal surgery.

Mr Ellul graduated with his medical degree (MBBCh) from Cardiff University in 2013. He later earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Advanced Surgical Practice from Cardiff University in 2018, undertaking research focused on diagnostic techniques for prostate cancer. In 2022, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Urology. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons.
