Dr Susan Papworth is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Neonatologist dedicated to delivering comprehensive medical care for newborn infants and young children. Specialising in neonatal medicine and perinatal care, she focuses on providing expert, empathetic treatment for infants requiring intensive medical attention. Dr Papworth works closely alongside multidisciplinary clinical teams to offer reassuring, family-centred care, ensuring parents are supported throughout their child's healthcare journey.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of specialised services in neonatal care. Dr Papworth is skilled in managing premature births, extremely low birth weight infants, and babies facing acute complex medical conditions. Her areas of clinical focus include neonatal resuscitation, whole-body therapeutic cooling for hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy, and advanced respiratory support such as high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy.
