Ms Susan Jawad

Ms Susan Jawad is an experienced Consultant Radiologist who specialises in head and neck imaging and multi-modality diagnostic procedures. She provides comprehensive radiological assessments for adult and paediatric patients, delivering accurate diagnoses to support tailored treatment plans. Her expert evaluations cover a wide array of conditions, ranging from thyroid and parathyroid disorders to ear, nose, and throat pathology and head and neck oncology.

Ms Jawad earned her medical degree with distinction in clinical practice and clinical sciences from Imperial College London in 2008. Following her medical qualification, she completed advanced specialist training in clinical radiology alongside a dedicated fellowship in head and neck imaging. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and holds active professional memberships with the British Society of Head and Neck Imaging and the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology.

In her clinical practice, Ms Jawad utilises advanced imaging modalities, including computed tomography scanning, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound. She performs a range of specialised ultrasound-guided procedures, such as fine-needle aspirations and core biopsies of the thyroid, cervical lymph nodes, and salivary glands. Additionally, she offers ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections for hypersalivation and ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation for benign thyroid nodules, ensuring minimally invasive care focused on patient safety and comfort.
