About Dr. Sachit Shah
Sachit Shah is a consultant in diagnostic neuroradiology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square.
Dr Shah studied medicine at University College London, and undertook postgraduate training in medicine at Hammersmith and Guys & St Thomas' hospitals, and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Following this, he trained in radiology at Imperial College Hospitals, before undertaking subspecialist training in neuroradiology on the Pan-London Neuroradiology fellowship.
In addition to wide-ranging expertise including stroke, pituitary and dementia imaging, Dr Shah has a specialist interest in the imaging of peripheral nerve and muscle disorders. He also performs specialist diagnostic procedures for spinal conditions.
Dr Shah also holds an academic post at the UCL Institute of Neurology, and is a lecturer on the UCL Advanced Neuroimaging MSc programme.
Dr Shah is able to provide a radiological opinion on scans that have been performed outside of Queen Square. Such reviews can be organised by contacting the Queen Square Imaging Centre. Please note that we will require a referral from a doctor for imaging review, and that a fee will apply for this service.

Dr Shah inspired confidence with his clear explanations of the procedure and its benefits in reducing inflammation and as a diagnostic tool if surgery should be required. He set my mind at rest with the risk/benefit of the spinal injection: He was friendly and helpful and the procedure was completely stress and pain free.
