Dr Sujay Chakravarti

Dr Sujay Chakravarti is a highly regarded Consultant Obstetrician who specialises in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to women throughout their pregnancy journeys, ensuring both maternal and foetal well-being. With a clinical focus that spans general obstetrics and complex maternity care, Dr Chakravarti is committed to delivering safe, reassuring, and evidence-based medical support to his patients.

His clinical interests are diverse and include the management of high-risk pregnancies, obstetric cholestasis, and the care of pregnant women living with HIV. Dr Chakravarti has contributed significantly to clinical research in these areas, publishing studies on maternal outcomes and the management of complex conditions such as placenta accreta spectrum. He is also actively involved in improving patient safety and communication, particularly regarding the consent processes for operative vaginal deliveries, and has served as a Clinical Governance Lead for maternity services.
