Dr Stuart Banks is a highly dedicated Dentist and Principal Dental Surgeon who provides comprehensive dental care with a calm and reassuring approach. He is committed to building long-standing relationships based on trust and continuity of care, taking great pride in looking after multiple generations of families. Known for his patient-centred philosophy, Dr Banks focuses on inspiring confidence in his patients, ensuring that individuals of all ages feel comfortable and relaxed during their dental visits.

Dr Banks completed his dental education at Leeds University Dental School, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD). He began his clinical career working in Yorkshire before relocating to Scotland to continue his practice, where he eventually became the Practice Principal. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr Banks serves as a Dental Practice Inspector with the Lothian Health Board, a role in which he helps maintain high standards of safety and care across the region.

With a strong interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Dr Banks is a certified Invisalign Provider, helping patients achieve straight, healthy, and beautiful smiles. His clinical expertise spans general dentistry, preventative care, and family dental treatments. Outside of his professional life, Dr Banks enjoys staying active outdoors, with a particular passion for cycling, golf, tennis, and hill walking.
