Dr Stefania Vergnano is a Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in Paediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology. With a dedication to advancing child health, she provides expert clinical care for infants, children, and young people affected by a wide range of infectious diseases, immune system disorders, and complex febrile illnesses. Dr Vergnano works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver holistic, patient-centred care tailored to the unique health needs of each child.

Her clinical practice encompasses the management of congenital infections, neonatal sepsis, recurrent fever syndromes, primary immunodeficiencies, and paediatric tuberculosis exposure. Dr Vergnano maintains a special focus on antimicrobial stewardship, ensuring the safe and targeted use of antibiotic therapies to manage resistant pathogens while minimising unnecessary treatment.
