Mr Stefan Antonowicz

Mr Stefan Antonowicz is a highly accomplished Consultant General and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon who specialises in advanced surgical care. With a strong focus on minimally invasive techniques, he is dedicated to providing precise and compassionate treatment for patients facing complex abdominal and upper gastrointestinal conditions. His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of general surgical procedures, with a particular emphasis on major oesophagogastric cancer resections, achalasia, and anti-reflux treatments.

Mr Antonowicz graduated with his medical degree from the University of Leicester in 2008. He subsequently completed his comprehensive clinical training across prestigious institutions in Oxford and London. In addition to his medical degree, he holds a PhD, which focused on the molecular mechanisms of exhaled breath biomarkers in oesophagogastric cancer. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and actively contributes to the advancement of his field as a Clinical Senior Lecturer. He also serves as a Research Committee Member for the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons.
