Dr Siobhan West

Dr Siobhan West is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist and Clinical Lead for Neurology who specialises in diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions in children and young people. Focusing on compassionate, patient-centred care, Dr West supports families through comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and personalised management plans. Her clinical expertise ensures that young patients receive high-quality medical support across a broad range of paediatric neurological disorders.

Dr West earned her medical degree (MD) and completed specialist higher training in paediatric neurology. She is registered with the General Medical Council on the Specialist Register for General Paediatrics and Paediatric Neurology and holds postgraduate qualification with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing the field of child health, Dr West also serves as a council member for the British Paediatric Neurology Association.

Within her clinical practice, Dr West has a particular clinical interest in neuroimmunology, childhood neuroinflammatory conditions, and tuberous sclerosis.
